Color-printed folding map, circa 1923, published by The Clason Map Company, Chicago, highlighting the wide range of regional, and national, highway 'trails' in existence at the time, such as the Lincoln Highway, Yellowstone Trail, Theodore Roosevelt International Highway etc, with inset maps of the western part of the state as well as eastern Long Island, with horizontal and vertical folds as issued (now flattened), also with the original folder in which the map was contained as well as it's protective envelope, issued as a promotional map by a local insurance company specializing in auto insurance; some slight toning lower-right and a little thinning of the paper on the reverse upper-left but otherwise in very good condition
