Color-printed map, circa 1932, published by the Japanese government, included with the propagandist government publication "The Present Condition of China", showing areas controlled by Chinese communists during the period of struggle between the communists and the Nationalist government; on thin cream paper, horizontal and vertical folds as issued, some slight toning, a stabilized tear in the lower-left margin stretching about 1/8" into the printed area, otherwise in very good condition
