Chromolithograph, 1890, printed and published by Currier & Ives, New York, on cream wove paper, titled "The Great East River Suspension Bridge / Connecting the Cities of New York and Brooklyn / View From New York, Looking South", with four additional lines of text describing the technical aspects of the bridge in more detail; some handling creases, slight surface marks and a few short tears, primarily in the sky and around the edges of the sheet, also with some tears in the lower text, backed onto a sheet of japan paper for support, otherwise a very attractive image with good color, and one of the least common of the Currier and Ives views of the bridge
